As a professional storyteller, performing to a wide range of audiences in various settings, and with a wealth of experience delivering training, this is a talk that promises to engage and inspire. Who knows what you will take away from it, that is for you to decide, but the guarantee is that you will take something that is relevant for you that sparks the change you may have been looking for.
There are a number of topics that you can choose from, but I am also open to creating a bespoke talk.Talks are a great way to get content across to a larger group of people, and with the Q&A session available, there is the opportunity to expand on areas of interest, or clarify anything that has been shared. The audience size for any talk is simply dependent on your venue and how many you wish to cater for.
I am a performer and a storyteller, so engaging with the room in a conversational way is my style. I don't do powerpoints, there are no handouts. This is about making a connection with the audience: resonating with them in a way which makes the content relevant.
The following topics are available:
1) Powerful Pitstops - how to build productive rest into your day
2) Happy Horizons - identify and cultivate happiness for a healthier outlook
3) Mindset Makeover - rewiring self-sabotage and negativity
4) Beat Burnout - understanding how burnout occurs and how to avoid it
5) Nailing Neurodiversity - how to thrive with a neurodiverse mind with self-awareness, self-compassion and strategies for navigating life
6) Sober Shift - finding confidence and clarity beyond alcohol
7) Running Release - running as a form of meditation, therapy and growth
8) From Chaos to Calm - a biography covering a mix of topics: neurodiveristy, getting sober, being self-employed, coming back from a breakdown, finding a different way to parent, peri-menopause, running silly distances... and there is plenty more, but maybe save those for the Q&A!
Workshops are a powerful way of getting people to experience the wellbeing techniques for themselves. In these small group settings there is time and space for all to feel they can share and contribute to the topics covered. The aim is always for people to leave the session with a toolkit personal to them, that they can embed into their day, simply and practically so they feel the powerful benefits in an immediate sense, and also see the gradual shift in themselves long-term.
Workshops can take different formats to suit your needs. Whether you wish to go with a full day event, half day or 1.5hr standard format, the content and how the sessions flow can be discussed and flexible to your setting.
Participant numbers run between a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 people. The small group setting allows for a more personalised experience, enabling people time to reflect, share and respond.
Content for the workshops can cover any individual topic, or a combination of. All of them include a meditation and simple breath practice and then a mixture of activities, discussion and presentation.
