If ultra running features in your life, then this course is for you! Your level of experience is personal to you, so whether you are ticking of global domination or raising money with your first 30-miler, this course is the perfect support for your mental wellness throughout.
Imposter syndrome? Lacking confidence? Perfectionist? Consumed by negative self talk? Whatever you wish to tame in order to pursue your goals as an ultra runner, this course provides you with the mental support and practical skills to develop your acceptance and bounce-back-ability from both the highs and lows of your ultra running experiences.
Designed around the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course, I have developed a programme specifically for ultra runners. You will join an online group (max 12 participants) for the duration. We will meet via Zoom once a week, over the 6 weeks, for a 2hr session in which I guide you through wellness practices, insights and tasks and you have the space to share with others on a topic that is familiar to you all. You will receive audio guided meditations and breathwork practices, and PDF downloads to support you during the course and beyond. Your commitment is to practise the meditations regularly and engage with the wellness techniques. They are easy to build in to your daily routine because this is about making your wellness practical, relevant and achievable. The more you put in, the greater the benefits you will see not only to your training and events, but in your general day-to-day wellness too!
